An Update on the 2022 Program
Since our founding in 2008, Emerging Philanthropists of New Orleans (EPNO) has worked to inspire and educate young leaders to become effective, lifelong philanthropists. As the result of our giving circle model, EPNO has channeled more than $662K of unrestricted funds directly to New Orleans nonprofits serving in the areas of Arts & Culture, Education, Human Rights & Justice, Health, and Housing.
In place of a 2022 class and grant cycle, our board made the difficult decision to prioritize capacity-building and long-term sustainability. The Greater New Orleans Foundation (GNOF) awarded EPNO a Mission Accelerator Grant to engage in a strategic planning process that will ensure our influence on New Orleans for years to come.
Over the next six months, the Board of Directors will work closely with ResourceFull Consulting to identify the best path forward. We welcome your input on our future and feedback on your past experience with our program. If you are interested in contributing to this process, please email info@emergingphilanthropists.org.
