The Emerging Philanthropists of New Orleans (EPNO) 2020 class awarded more than $20K to local non-profit organizations in the areas of Arts & Culture, Environment, Healthcare, and Human Rights & Justice. Due to the in-person nature of EPNO’s traditional program, the organization enlisted alumni to take part in a virtual program this year in consideration of COVID-19 restrictions.
“EPNO alumni from all over the country stepped up to sustain our mission despite the incredible challenge presented by the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Board Chair Bradford Walker.
Vice Chair Xiaobin Tuo said, “Alumni were uniquely positioned to carry on the organization’s mission during this bridge year. We are confident that the grants awarded will make a significant impact on the New Orleans community.”

a unique curriculum that teaches responsible giving while exposing members to the greatest needs of the New Orleans community. The EPNO Board of Directors expects traditional programming to resume in 2021 with modifications for health and safety.
